No Matter how our lives may twist, turn and overlap, they all fit together as part of a magnificent whole.
No beginning. No end. Just one of God's creations. |

Confirmation
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; He has anointed
me, and sent me out to preach the gospel to the poor, to
restore the brokenhearted; to bid the prisoners go free,
and the blind to have sight; to set the oppressed at
liberty, to proclaim a year when men may find acceptance
with the Lord. (Luke 4:18-19)
The Sacrament of Confirmation is a rite confirming an
individual's Baptism. This Sacrament strengthens
each Christian and helps us enter into a more intimate
union with Christ. It is a Sacrament which opens us to
the powerful gifts of the Holy Spirit as we strive to
lead a Christian life and bring others to the knowledge
and love of God.

Confirmation of Young People (10th and 11th
grade students) takes place every other year. The next
Confirmations are scheduled for 2008, 2010, and 2012. During
preparation for this sacrament, students are discussing,
examining and exploring faith issues as they grow spiritually
and deepen their faith. Weekly preparation classes begin in the
Fall, with celebration of the sacrament taking place in the
Spring. A retreat is also a required part of the preparation.
This year confirmation will take place on February 5th, 2008.
